2024 Record Year for Implema’s Dynamics Division

Implema Dynamics had a record year in 2024 with a revenue increase of 44%, thanks to several new customers, successful implementation projects, and strong team growth. Highlights of the year included projects in Life Sciences and for fast-growing companies where Implema's methodology, the Implema Way, was crucial. The division also strengthened its position in Professional Services and Analytics, where the transition to Microsoft Fabric drove demand. The award as Microsoft D365 Finance Partner of the Year 2023 contributed to increased visibility and growth during the year. Looking ahead, Implema Dynamics aims to triple the business within 3-5 years through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions, including in Analytics, Power Platform, and Azure. The division sees great opportunities to further strengthen its delivery capacity and attract new customers and employees.

2024 record year for Implema’s Dynamics division. Implema’s Dynamics division can look back on 2024 as a record year with several new customers and colleagues and a revenue increase of 44%. We asked a few questions about the past year to Hanna Svensson, head of the Dynamics division at Implema.

Hello there, Hanna Svensson, we understand it went brilliantly for Dynamics last year! Can you tell us more?

Yes, that’s right, 2024 was truly a fantastic year. We had the privilege of welcoming several new customers and exciting projects. Throughout the year, we ran three new implementation projects in parallel. At the same time, we worked on continuing to develop our existing customers within our strong ALM offering.

None of this would have been possible without all the amazing employees and customers. For our growth, it was important that in 2024 we were able to recruit a large number of new, wonderful, and highly competent colleagues to our division. This has allowed us to increase our delivery capacity.

Overall, this meant that our division grew by 44% in 2024. We can then conclude that the Dynamics business at Implema has been taken to a new level.

Can you tell us more about some of these exciting projects?

One of the larger projects we carried out was for a customer in Life Sciences. It’s an industry where we have many customers and where we have conducted a large number of implementation projects. There are very specific requirements and conditions that must be managed in Life Sciences. Customers there are keen to work with someone who understands the challenges and can provide them with security, which we can.

Another was for a fast-growing company. For growth companies, the time aspect is especially important. They can’t get stuck in long implementation projects, and that’s where Implema’s special methodology, the Implema Way, with a focus on time, becomes extra important. In a short time, the company gets a cost-effective and modern platform that can be quickly and easily scaled up as they grow.

Are there any particular industries or niches you often work with?

In addition to Life Sciences and growth companies, companies that have projects as a large part of their operations are a niche we have become skilled at.

We have also built up special expertise in Professional Services, where we now see increased demand for our services.

Implema was named Microsoft D365 Finance Partner of the Year 2023, do you think that may have contributed to the successes in 2024?

Yes, I am quite convinced that it played a role. Especially since a large part of our growth comes from D365 F&SCM (Finance and Operations). It’s clear that it carries weight when it’s not just us claiming we’re good at what we do. Even Microsoft gave us that recognition. It can certainly be a contributing reason when choosing us.

Finally, what are the plans going forward? How do you top 2024 and what are the goals now?

The sky is the limit, as they say… No, but joking aside, the ambition is to triple our business within 3-5 years. Which we will achieve through both organic growth and acquisitions.

The demand is there, not least for D365 F&SCM (Finance & Operations). We also see continued strong demand for Implema’s unique ability to deliver successful projects in general and for our strong ALM offering.

In Analytics, we continue to be at the forefront. We have helped the majority of our customers move to Microsoft’s latest Analytics platform, Fabric. Here we have an active acquisition strategy to meet the high demand in Analytics. Another area we are looking at for acquisitions is within the Power Platform. To be able to work even more with process automation.

Today, we also have the ability to offer integration solutions on Azure, an area where we see growth. There is a high demand for general capability related to infrastructure and data security for Azure. Which we currently manage partly ourselves with the help of partners. It’s an area we are looking to build stronger in-house capability.

In other words, we see incredibly many opportunities ahead of us. We also feel that we are well-positioned to attract both new employees and customers.

So our ambition to triple revenue within 3-5 years feels entirely realistic. We look forward to continuing to make an even greater difference, both for existing customers and for all those we have not yet had the privilege to work with.
