Business systems specialist Implema takes the next step in its growth strategy. During the fourth quarter of 2025, the company will open a new office in North Carolina, USA. The establishment takes place in close proximity to two of Implema’s customers’ American operations and is an important step in the company’s strategy to grow together with its customers.
Following the acquisition of CoreChange’s SAP and BI operations in early 2025, Implema has strengthened its position as Sweden’s leading implementation partner for SAP and Microsoft Dynamics. The establishment in the US marks the next step in this growth journey, to not only grow in Sweden but also internationally, as customers’ needs become increasingly global.
Strengthens the global presence
Establishing ourselves in the US is a natural step in Implema’s growth journey. Our customers’ operations are becoming increasingly global and our mission is to be there to support them, both with local presence and global expertise. The Research Triangle in North Carolina, where our office is located, is a dynamic region in growth and here we get the opportunity to be close to two of our important customers .

Tobias Simolin leads the establishment
Responsible for the startup of Implema’s American operations is Tobias Simolin, Business Area Manager for Business Solutions at Implema in Stockholm. He recently returned from a trip to the US focused on preparing the establishment, meeting partners and initiating recruitment for the new organization.
We have for a long time worked closely with our customers in their international expansion. Being able to now meet their needs directly on-site in the US makes us even stronger as a partner. For us, it’s about building long-term relationships and ensuring that we can deliver the same fast, cost-effective and value-creating solutions regardless of where in the world our customers are located .

Part of Implema’s growth journey
Implema has grown significantly in the Swedish market in recent years and is now strengthening its international presence with the new office in North Carolina. The establishment is a milestone in the company’s strategy to grow together with its customers and to strengthen its position globally.
Implema currently has ten offices throughout Sweden. The office in the US will be the first outside Sweden.

- Wholly owned subsidiary of Implema AB.
- Local recruitment – 3-5 new employees are planned during the coming six months, with the first recruitment on-site during the fourth quarter of 2025.
- Strategic location – the office has been opened in Raleigh, the state capital of North Carolina, in the area The Research Triangle. The region is a global hub for biotech, technology and innovation and home to three universities, including Duke University.
- Swedish leadership – Tobias Simolin has been appointed CEO of the American subsidiary and will initially commute between the US and Sweden.
