POLYPEPTIDE’S NEEDS. Polypeptide got global Microsoft Dynamics platform in 6 months. Polypeptide operates production facilities in Sweden, Belgium, France, India, and the USA. The need was for a unified solution covering three continents and six sites. A group-wide challenge was that facilities worked differently and had different IT systems. Peptide wanted a common and transparent platform that integrates business, logistics, and production processes as well as reporting. The goal was to independently ensure compliance with Life Science regulatory requirements.
IMPLEMA’S SOLUTION. To ensure Polypeptide effectively meets regulatory requirements, Implema delivered a solution based on Microsoft Dynamics, powered by Microsoft Azure. The implementation covers finance, supply chain management, purchasing, sales, quality management, projects, planning, and production.
RESULTS. Thanks to Implema’s efficient methodology and a high degree of standard functionality, Polypeptide could replace their existing platform in Malmö in just six months, while creating a global template for rapid rollout in other markets. The new solution meets all regulatory and customer requirements within Life Science and enables implementation without the need for new validations.
The project in Malmö is absolutely a success. The number of customization days dropped from 400 in previous feasibility studies to about 80, and we experience a high degree of flexibility from Implema when we need extra resources.
