We Now Have a Logo and Graphic Expression that Reflects What Makes Implema Unique.

Implema has launched a new logo and graphic profile to better reflect the company's unique character and future orientation. Marketing & Communications Director Ann-Sophie Modigh explains that the previous profile worked but did not fully meet today's needs and the flexibility required in modern market communication. The new design aims to express the company's warmth, humanity, and forward-thinking, as well as highlight Implema's growth journey and distinguish the company from others in the industry. The profile is simple, clear, and adaptable for different media, focusing on long-term relevance and maximum identity. The work on the new profile has been thorough and involved many employees, with the business plan, vision, values, and competitor analysis forming the basis. Creative Director Joakim Jerring contributed his experience in strategic brand building and was a key partner in the process. The goal of the new profile is to clearly communicate who Implema is—both to potential customers and employees—and to create curiosity about the company as a different IT consulting firm. Modigh is proud that colleagues recognize themselves in the profile and act as engaged brand ambassadors.

Hello there, Ann-Sophie Modigh, Marketing Director at Implema – Implema has a new logo and graphic profile, what were the thoughts behind it?

Over time, it became increasingly clear that our current profile needed to be developed to better reflect who we are today and where we are headed. There was nothing inherently wrong with the old logo and profile, but it wasn’t flexible enough and wasn’t adapted to what is needed for today’s market communication and didn’t give the attention that Implema deserves. But now it’s time to show who we are! What I wanted to add was the forward-thinking spirit in the organization and our growth journey, as well as to stand out in our communication compared to others in the industry. I also wanted it to reflect the human aspect. It’s the warmth in everyday life and in the dialogue both internally and externally that we often receive comments about.

What should the New Logo and Profile Reflect?

We wanted to create an identity that is relevant to the target audience and is clear and distinct. It should be easy to use, easy to adapt to different media, be contemporary, and be able to last over a longer period. There should also be built-in functionality to create flexibility with maximum identity.

The new profile interacts with a warm and human Implema, and the company’s unique characteristics are highlighted and clarified. A smart and modern company.

Another important aspect for us was that the warmth and lack of prestige that prevails among us working at Implema and in our relationships with our customers and partners should be better reflected.


How Has the Work of Developing the New Expression Looked?

It has been a thorough process that has led to what we have now achieved. And not just me, but my colleagues are very satisfied! As always when developing a graphic profile, you start with the company’s business plan, vision, and values, and in our case, also our EVP (employer branding position). This, together with a competitor analysis, formed the basis for the work to develop a new profile.

We have involved many at Implema during the journey, who participated in the work of defining who Implema is today and how it should best be reflected in our communication, both visually and communicatively. Throughout the process, we have collaborated with a very experienced and competent Creative Director, Joakim Jerring. He has extensive experience in strategic brand building and has helped many well-known brands develop their profile and strengthen their brand. Joakim has been invaluable in the work, and it has been a pleasure to collaborate with him.


Finally, What Do You Hope Will Come out of this?

Above all, I hope it will become clearer externally who we are. That both potential colleagues and customers get a sense of who we are even before they have met us. And that we will spark curiosity and be perceived as what we are; simply a different IT consulting company.

That’s why it’s so rewarding when you hear colleagues say that what we have developed is spot on, that it truly reflects who we are. It’s clear that our colleagues are now proud of our brand and profile. And it’s more important than you might think, all colleagues are brand ambassadors regardless of their role in the company.
