Implema's sustainability efforts

At Implema, our sustainability work is monitored based on the concept of ESG, which stands for Environmental, Social and Governance. ESG is in line with the EU’s CSRD directive and describes how companies of a certain size and type should report their sustainability data.

We have initiated a double materiality analysis according to the directive and are continuously working to develop our sustainability reporting.

About Implema's work for sustainability

Environment and Climate

At Implema, we take active responsibility for reducing our environmental impact. As a service-based company, our direct emissions (Scope 1 and Scope 2) are very small. We source 100% renewable electricity for all offices and data centers.

We calculate our emissions in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and are committed to maintaining or further improving our already minimal Scope 1 and Scope 2 profile.

Our largest environmental impact lies within Scope 3, primarily from business travel. We therefore focus on reducing the need for travel where possible and making more sustainable choices when travel is required.

As a growing service company, our emissions scale with business activity. For Implema, intensity-based indicators are therefore a relevant and meaningful way to track our climate performance over time. We remain committed to continuous improvement and to reducing our environmental footprint in line with our operations and growth.

Social

Implema’s employees are our most important resources, and therefore we need to have a sustainable workplace for competent and committed employees with the customer in focus. We must be a professional and positive workplace with an inclusive work environment. Therefore, we behave respectfully and with integrity towards everyone we come into contact with in our work. We act professionally in our interactions with both customers and colleagues, and we contribute to creating a work environment that is free from discrimination. We support the Next Step project, which is run by Hand in Hand, an acceleration program for young and female entrepreneurs, who, in addition to being trained in entrepreneurship and supported in raising capital, are also given digital competence. Governance

Implema has a quality management system that helps us know how to work in the best way to achieve our goals. We are third-party certified according to ISO 9001 (quality), 14001 (environment), 27001 (information security) and 27701 (data protection).

At Implema AB, we strive to have an open and transparent workplace, where misconduct should not occur. Our code of conduct is our framework for how we behave and make decisions as representatives and employees at Implema. Misconduct can be reported in the whistleblower system.
