For many years, Implema has helped companies develop and modernize their business systems and processes. As clients undertake increasingly extensive and complex projects, the demands on delivery models with the right competence mix, scalability, and the ability to combine local presence with international capacity also increase.

The establishment in Romania is also an important step in our continued international development, says Tobias Simolin, CEO at Implema.
The initial focus is on SAP expertise in development, integration, and technical architecture, such as ABAP, UX/Fiori, and SAP Integration. In the long term, there is also potential to expand operations to other parts of Implema’s offering.
A European nearshore model for increased flexibility
The establishment in Romania is a strategic complement to Implema’s existing organization, where the new entity, Implema Romania SRL, will become an integrated part of Implema’s delivery organization.
– The nearshore model allows us to scale our deliveries and assemble teams based on client needs, while the Romanian consultants work closely with both our Swedish teams and clients. This gives us increased flexibility without compromising the proximity and quality of delivery, says Erik Glasmästar.
Implema Romania will be based in Cluj, an established IT and competence hub in Romania. Operations will start with a smaller team already involved in deliveries to Swedish clients.
– We have already seen that the setup works very well. Our Romanian colleagues work fully integrated with our Swedish teams and our clients, with the same high demands on quality and client satisfaction that have always characterized Implema. We see great potential to continue developing our international delivery capability going forward, says Erik Glasmästar.
The establishment in Romania is part of Implema’s continued international development, where the company already has operations in the USA.
