SAP Invests in Sustainability and Continues to Develop Tools for It
These days, many companies are working hard on their CSRD reporting. SAP Sustainability Control Tower has been available for some time. It’s a software-as-a-service solution designed to help companies monitor and manage their sustainability performance.
This enables organizations to track, analyze, and optimize their sustainability initiatives, including ESG metrics (environmental, social, and governance). Additionally, it allows for the development of sustainability reporting into continuous comprehensive management. As a result, organizations get real-time insights into sustainability performance in their operations, suppliers, and products.
Data can be retrieved from both SAP and non-SAP systems to automate data collection and reduce manual data entry. All gathered in a single source. Furthermore, pre-built content enables support based on the most prominent sustainability standards. With support for standards such as GRI, WEF, TCFD, CSRD, and EU taxonomy, companies can establish robust and auditable ESG reporting. This helps users set sustainability goals, track progress, and take corrective actions, ensuring compliance with both regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations.
With SAP Sustainability Control Tower, Companies Can:
- Streamline their data collection and management: Integrate registry systems directly into SAP Sustainability Control Tower to eliminate errors, increase reporting speed, and improve the verification chain.
- Improve sustainability reporting: The solution helps companies generate sustainability reports and disclosures that are accurate, transparent, and comply with statutory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor and analyze sustainability data: The solution provides insight into an organization’s sustainability performance, enabling companies to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions.
