A Strategic ERP Partnership
As they grew, the need arose to work more uniformly between companies in different countries. They had outgrown their previous working methods and processes that existed in various business or financial systems. Therefore, they needed to renew and adapt their ERP system for a global market.
Implema was one of the few partners that Avensia really connected with. The reason was that the company felt that Implema’s method – quickly and efficiently implementing standard systems without customizations – also matched their operations and own approach.
The choice of ERP system fell on the user-friendly and powerful Microsoft Dynamics 365. Using the Swedish company as a starting point, a standard template for Finance & Operations was established. This was then gradually rolled out to other companies worldwide. With the new ERP system in place, Avensia can more easily plan, monitor activities and processes globally, and streamline their Finance and Operations. Next in line are the Project Operations and HR modules.
A Digital Project Born in a Pandemic
The entire project was carried out virtually—consultants from Implema only visited the Lund office a handful of times, the first visit occurring several months into the implementation.
Thanks to a pragmatic mindset and Implema’s unique working method, Implema Way, Avensia could step by step – and country by country – quickly implement a scalable and efficient ERP system. The system is also adapted for the global market where the group operates. From June 2022, the project, which is now ongoing worldwide, enters its next phase. Therefore, we look forward to continued successful collaboration.
