{"id":45348,"date":"2024-05-29T16:09:21","date_gmt":"2024-05-29T14:09:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/implema.se\/uncategorized\/whats-new-at-implema-2\/"},"modified":"2025-11-10T14:33:25","modified_gmt":"2025-11-10T13:33:25","slug":"whats-new-at-implema-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/implema.se\/en\/news\/whats-new-at-implema-2\/","title":{"rendered":"What&#8217;s New at Implema"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Implema reaches the final in ERP Project of the Year 2023\/2024<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n<p>What&#8217;s new at Implema \u2013 Implema and our client StepLock were one of three finalists for the &#8220;ERP Project of the Year 2023\/2024&#8221; award for the project where we jointly implemented S\/4HANA Cloud Public Edition in two countries (Sweden and Norway) in a record time of 12 weeks (!). The award is presented by HerbertNathan &amp; Co, Scandinavia&#8217;s leading independent advisor in ERP systems among other areas, and the winner was announced at the ERP Summit 2024 in Stockholm on May 21.   <br\/><br\/>One of the jury members expressed that this year there were three extremely good projects in the final. The competition was therefore fierce, and we are truly proud of our finalist position.  <br\/><br\/><a href=\"https:\/\/implema.se\/en\/kundreferenser\/steplock-to-the-cloud-at-rocket-speed-in-12-weeks\/\">Here you can read about the project. <\/a><br\/><br\/><strong>The year&#8217;s first Meets took place in Malm\u00f6 on May 16<\/strong> <br\/> <br\/>Implema Meets are our local events around the country. We gather customers, partners, and other Implema friends for an afternoon of news, knowledge, inspiration, and an opportunity to exchange experiences, followed by an after-work event with food and drinks. Once again, it was a very successful event judging by the evaluation and the atmosphere in the venue, with good conversations, curious and informed questions, and some laughter.   <br\/><br\/>The customer case from Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies sparked particular interest. Paulius Pakalniskis, Global Head of ERP &amp; Enterprise Services, and Venkata Suresh Bandaru, Global Lead SAP Technology, Security &amp; Compliance, generously shared the SAP journey we have made together. They emphasized TIME as crucial. They constantly challenge themselves and us, all with the aim of increasing the pace of their expansion. But there was also an informative session on AI and business benefits, about our new service Quick Closings, and on how to best get the business more involved in the development of the ERP system, which was held by our CEO J\u00f6rgen Aronsson together with Ann Karblom.      <br\/><br\/><strong>Remaining Implema Meets 2024 \u2013 changed date for Gothenburg <\/strong> <br\/><br\/>As we&#8217;ve previously announced, we&#8217;re holding four Implema Meets during 2024. Three remain now in the following locations. We&#8217;ve moved the Meets in Gothenburg to be able to hold the event in our new premises, see the date below:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sundsvall 10\/3 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stockholm 10\/16 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gothenburg 1\/23 2025 (new date!) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Webinar together with Microsoft about Copilot<\/strong> <br\/><br\/>On April 16, we held a live webinar titled &#8220;Microsoft Dynamics 365 Copilot \u2013 how to benefit from next-generation AI in your ERP system&#8221;. During the webinar, Microsoft&#8217;s Peter Rhodin participated as a guest speaker. In an engaging conversation with Implema&#8217;s Pernilla \u00d6hl\u00e9n, he went through what Copilot is, how to get started with generative AI \u2013 and most importantly, where the biggest business gains are. They talked about their cloud migration to RISE with SAP Cloud Private Edition. An important step to scale up and future-proof themselves. They discussed, among other things, why they decided to move parts of the ERP system to the cloud, how they did it, what they needed to consider, and what results they&#8217;ve achieved. It was especially great that our two seminars were so well-attended; both our customer case where WirelessCar&#8217;s CFO Carl-Fredrik Rindebro commendably shared the company&#8217;s journey to SAP S\/4HANA Public Cloud, and that our colleagues Jesper and Marcus had the opportunity to talk about AI in practice and about one of Implema&#8217;s self-developed AI products, KLAS.   <br\/><br\/><strong>Richard Nagel visits Implema&#8217;s SAP kickoff <br\/><\/strong><br\/>Implema&#8217;s annual SAP conference had a &#8220;special guest&#8221; in Richard Nagel, SAP S\/4HANA expert\/Blackbelt, who flew in from the Netherlands. Richard, who is a truly big name in SAP circles, held both an inspirational session focusing on SAP Cloud and a Master Class with more in-depth knowledge and insights on the same topic \u2013 all with the aim of being able to offer our SAP customers real value.  <br\/><br\/><strong>Daniel Falk appointed Deputy CEO at Implema <br\/><\/strong><br\/>Implema has appointed Daniel Falk, until recently Business Area Manager for Business Solutions and Advisory. The role is newly established and the purpose is to further strengthen the organization and preparedness for future growth and for increased focus on existing commitments.
